Program

Learning objectives

  • Develop reading comprehension and clear written expression through guided tasks.
  • Build number sense and practise basic calculations, patterns and shapes.
  • Observe, describe and ask questions about the world.
  • Follow learning routines, organise materials and seek help when needed.

Teaching methodology

  • Teachers introduce concepts in live Zoom lessons, demonstrate examples, guide practice and give feedback. Opportunities to speak, read aloud and solve problems help children actively participate.

Curriculum and syllabus

  • The recommended Grade 1 structure is English Language and Literacy, Mathematics, Science, introductory Digital Literacy, Creative Arts and Wellbeing, Islamic Studies, and dedicated Quran Learning. The exact syllabus stays editable and awaits academic approval. It is not a finalized policy, and Grade 1 is not part of the Nursery and Kindergarten Early Years curriculum.

Interactive learning

  • Children read aloud, practise writing, explain number solutions and ask questions during the live lesson.

Preschool activities

  • Shared reading, sentence writing, practical number work, observation tasks and guided problem-solving.

Learning outcomes

  • We support the development of literacy, numeracy, classroom independence and confidence to try increasingly challenging tasks.
  • Activities are adapted to children's needs and support progress at different paces.

Children develop skills through live teaching, guided practice and age-appropriate activities. Explore the learning objectives and how families can support progress at home. Read how live teaching works and the activity notes.

Inside a Live Lesson

Inside a Live Lesson

These examples show how a lesson may unfold. Not every lesson follows the same steps.

  1. Part 1

    Review

A short return to an idea the class already knows.

  2. Part 2

    Teacher demonstration

The teacher shows an example before children try it.

  3. Part 3

    Guided practice

Children practise with feedback from the teacher.

  4. Part 4

    Reflect and prepare

The class looks back at the lesson and what comes next.

All classes are delivered live on Zoom and recorded for quality assurance. Enrolled students can revisit available class recordings for a 48-hour access window, including when they are absent or on leave.

Your role

How parents help

A few minutes of support makes a big difference, especially in the first weeks.

  • Help your child get ready for Zoom, keep simple materials within reach and encourage short follow-up conversations about class activities.

Questions

Good to know

What do we need for online classes?

A laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, reliable internet, a suitable learning space and basic materials such as paper and crayons. Teachers will let families know when specific materials are needed.

We live outside Pakistan. Can our child attend?

Yes. Our classes are online, and the School Timetable shows Pakistan Standard Time with local-time guidance for international families.

Does a parent need to sit with the child?

For younger children, having a parent or caregiver nearby can help with the device and materials. Children are encouraged to participate more independently as their confidence grows.

Which program is right for my child?

Our admissions team can help you choose between Nursery, Kindergarten and Grade 1 based on your child's age and learning stage. Compare the stages on Our Programs.
