Getting Ready for a Live Zoom Class

Practical tips for a comfortable, organised online-learning setup.

Prepare the learning space

Choose a quiet, well-lit place where your child can see and hear the teacher comfortably. Keep the device steady and within easy reach.

Check your equipment

Before class, check the internet connection, camera, microphone and device battery. Keep the class link and any teacher instructions handy.

Gather simple materials

Have paper, crayons and any requested learning materials available so your child can join activities without interruption.

Support independence gradually

Younger children may need more assistance with the device and materials. As children become confident, encourage them to participate and manage simple routines more independently.

After class

Talk about what your child enjoyed and help with follow-up activities when requested by the teacher. Enrolled families can refer to the parent portal for class information and learning updates.

All classes are delivered live on Zoom and recorded for quality assurance. Enrolled students can revisit available class recordings for a 48-hour access window, including when they are absent or on leave.
